On the surface, Black & White Photography seems like a simple way to capture photos. However, there is planning, practice, and skill required to use this style effectively.

When we remove colour, we take out the most obvious visual element. Black & White makes the photographer lean into other elements like light, shadow, and composition to tell the story.
