Jump! (or Movement) – Technical

Remember in September when we worked with the Shutter Priority setting?
Well it’s time to revisit this topic…
A lot of the learning process is actually repeating and re-trying ideas we know or have experience with, and adding small, extra steps.
At this point in the course we have covered quite a bit – composition ideas, manual mode, colours, exposure settings, etc. But what if we applied some of those ideas to something we tried out before?
The Assignment – DSLR
In this assignment you will be planning and capturing a 6 photo themed series.
The theme? Jumping photos *
Using what you know about composition and manual camera settings, you can now re-tackle a task from earlier this year with more information and know how.
Check out the full details here – 3bJumpPhotos
Don’t forget the Self-Assessment – 3cCriteriaJumpMove
Due Oct 31
* If jumping is not your thing, you can develop a theme around other types of movement (see task brief for some other ideas)
* NOTE: While we previously tried a similar assignment using Shutter Priority, I do encourage you to try this assignment using FULL Manual Mode, even if it is for a couple of images in your series.
