Definition: Leading lines are lines that appear in a photo that help guide the viewer towards a point of interest.

This composition technique is often used photographer’s to direct or influence viewers’ towards a specific area or subject in a photo.
Not only does this technique use elements of View Points and Rule of Thirds, but it forces the photographer to consider the framing (what is seen in rectangle) of their images.
