The final setting of the Exposure Triangle is ISO (International Standard of Organization – yes, that’s exactly what the acronym stands for.)


Simply put, ISO affects how sensitive to light the camera sensor is.

Back in the day, different films were set with specific ISO settings. Today, this setting can have a big impact on your overall image, if used in correctly. Luckily, understanding the scenarios where this setting works best is straight-forward.
