Photography is the main source for content in the Yearbook. From catching school events, a big game, or the day to day activities in classes – photography is going to come a number of different angles.
The Scavenger Hunt
The main purpose of your photography is to capture as many different aspects of life at Brookswood as possible. This means you may need to step outside your comfort zone on occasion; however, when people hear that you are working on the Yearbook, they will open up.

Photography Reminders – PLEASE READ
When taking photos for Yearbook, please consider the following:
- Introduce yourself. – speaking to a teacher or a group of students, to let them know are taking photos for yearbook, will help you. They may give ideas for photos to take or let you know if they do not what a photo or even when a good time to take photos may be. Some students do not want their photo in the yearbook and this gives them a chance to excuse themselves.
- Think about different types of photos you can take. – consider different angles, heights, distances, portraits, stills, action/movement. The more range in styles of photos, the more engaging the end product will be.
