The main piece of software we will be using this semester is Adobe InDesign. This is a very robust program for desktop publishing, but it can be overwhelming to first learn.

One of the best ways to learn InDesign is to jump in – build, ask questions, and experiment.

Over the course of the semester, we will be create different projects that will help you learn some of the more commonly used features in this program.

Part 1 – Questionnaire (Word)

Please complete the following questions – AboutMe

Due Sept 10

Part 2 – Layout: InDesign Practice

Before we put together our questions and photos, we need to organize the layout of our document.

Follow along in class, as we look through InDesign and create a practice layout (template) for our content.

Part 3 – Finished Product (InDesign & PDF)

Using your practice layout, edit elements and add your content to the file. Check out my example from class – Example Progress

Save your work and export a copy to PDF.

Share your PDF to Mr. Goldsack.

Due Sept 15
