Histograms – The Quick Guide to Exposure

Digital Cameras have created a wonderful guide – The Histogram.


In short, the Histogram is a scale that shows the proportions of pixels in a photo.

Why should we even care?
Histograms can be helpful in the field when it’s difficult to tell how a photo looks on the view screen.
It’s also SUPER helpful when editing photos in applications such as Lightroom or Photoshop.
