Welcome to Photoshop!

Adobe Photoshop is a versatile application that allows users to edit, design, and create anything from the imagination. Originally designed to help with digitally editing photos, Photoshop has evolved over the past 25+ years to meet a wide range of ideas and functions that users develop.

Warning: Photoshop can be a bit overwhelming, at first glance.
This is due to the wide array of tools, menus, and features that window space contains.

Advice: Take your time and ask questions.
Becoming familiar and comfortable with Photoshop takes time and repetition.

Layer Masks

Layer Masks are great way to combine images without destroying or altering the base files. ‘Non-Destructive’ building is a common (and incredibly useful) method for working with Photoshop files.

Please download the following folder and move it to your Desktop or Documents space: LayerMaskItems

Here is a walkthrough guide of today’s demo, using these items: LayerMaskingTutorial1

Please hand in your Apple/Cat file, when you are finished.  /5

Dangerous Fruit – The Assignment

In this assignment you will be using layer masks to create 2 separate files. Each file will display an Animal(Creature)/Food Hybrid.
